Lupe Fiasco! Get out of our head! No, but really. We couldn't stop grooving while mixing and designing his new track Out of My Head featuring Trey Songz, off his latest album Lasers. Great summer feel.
We also had the opportunity to work on mix and sound design for a new documentary from the USO (United Services Organization). They partnered with Pringles to send chips to soldiers abroad to give them a "taste of home". The short film featured stories from soldiers' families who worked at the Pringles plant in Jackson, TN. It's a sentimental piece we're proud to have been a part of.
On the commercial front, Swell was asked to mix and design a new Reethym of Lite video for Reebok featuring Swizz Beatz. The moves are insane and the track is hot- was a great spot to work on.

We love working with young directors who are masters of their craft. Joslyn Rose Lyons is one such director, and we were stoked to create original music, sound design, and mix for herupcoming film The Blue Rose (featuring Kavi Ladnier, who is best known for her role as Mira Shenoy on NBC's Heroes). The Blue Rose will be released later this year; we'll be sure to update when.
At the other end of the spectrum, Swell was asked to sound design LMFAO's new music video for the song Champagne Showers, off their upcoming album Sorry For Party Rocking. The album drops June 21 and will definitely make you dance/rock. Sorry we're not sorry.

Swell got a chance to explore the dark side while designing and mixing the short thriller
Wonderland showing at Cannes this year. Directed by Max Carp, "Wonderland" explores the dangerous line between infatuation and destruction, with the enduring notion that things are not always what they seem. If you're feeling daring, be sure to check it out at the Cannes Short Film Corner.

We were thrilled when asked to sound design and mix a documentary for the legendary Alicia Keys! The film is a glimpse into the making of "Songs in A Minor" as well as Alicia's journey to the top. It's being featured exclusively on the 10th Anniversary Edition "Songs in A Minor" Album, which comes out June 28th, 2011. The documentary is a touching and intimate look at Alicia's life up to this point, and we were honored to be a part of it!

"The Chefsters" Theme Song, and Gold Addy Award!

More News!
Time to brief you guys on the going-ons since summer! Lots of commercial composing for music houses like Massive Music, Finger Music, The Eggplant, more demos for the Lodge, and my new favorite, Mira Music.
We did another stint for Adventures of Power re-edit! More mixes for rOOm (now Coda Post!), like an Oxfam Doc, a Mariah Carey promo, and various music videos.
More fun work for Gil Green - Elad scored a 2.5 minute theatrical trailer for Akon's new album. Check it out in Recent Work.

Well, it's been a busy 2008! Elad kicked the year off serving as music editor for feature film "Adventures of Power", Ari Gold's brainchild about air drumming! Awesome movie - www.adventuresof power.com.
It's been an exciting year over at rOOm audio as well (www.room.tv), where we helped with Massive Music's Coca Cola Beijing spot, Rihanna and Duffy promos, and the usual hip hop video mixes.
Elad's been working on the follow-up to Dandelion Man's Stars Over Shootland record, teaming up with da boyz, Eric Holden and Jonathan Gorman for more amazing sessions at Abbott Kinney Studios.
We also completed sound design for the new Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne videos, as well as composing over 15 spots this year for The Lodge! (www.thelodge.com).
